Beautiful and rare specimen of Epididymite over Aegirine and Albite from the famous Poudrette quarry, Mont Saint-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada. The white hexagonal crystals of Epididymite are very well shaped and sharp. They have porcelain white color. Black Aegirines blades with good luster are seen at the center. Colorless Albite forms the core. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. For references see the 1990 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 21, # 4. In excellent condition – some small Aegirine contacts. On acrylic base.
Outstanding Epididymite specimen!
