They are extremely transparent, gem quality with superb luster and rich saturated color. They are glassy and clear - pure orange water. The crystals have rhombic dodecahedral habit with sharp crystallization. All crystals have nice striations characteristic for Jeffrey mine. Dark Clinochlore rosettes are seen too. With such amazing gemminess, glassy luster and irresistible color it is a truly superb Garnet from this great and closed mine.
