Beautiful specimen of skeletal Galena and Chalcopyrite decorating attractively radial Quartz spray from 9th Septemvri mine, Madan ore field, Bulgaria. It displays very neat and geometrical arrangement of stacked and aligned Galena crystals overgrowing each other. Excellent parallel growth of cubes and elongated tetragonal prisms on different axes. They grow one atop another forming amazing terraced structures. Some cavernous formations are seen on the Galena. The faces are matt lustrous. Yellow Chalcopyrite crystals up to 24 mm add a nice accent. Black Sphalerite crystals with strong luster grow among the Quartz. The Quartz crystals are sharp, chunky, transparent and clear. They have green Chlorite inclusions. In excellent condition.
