Beautiful and rare colorless Grossular Garnet crystals up to 7mm growing on a spiky Diopside spray from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The two Garnet crystals are transparent, gem quality with superb luster and water clear. They have sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit. They are scattered on white Diopside needles with sparkling appearance. The Grossular crystals stand freely at the top and form superb focal point.  For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.  In superb condition. On acrylic base.
