Superb skeletal Galena specimen from the closed 9th Septemvri mine, Madan ore field, Bulgaria – the only one that makes these structures. The skeletal structure is caused by very fast growth of the mineral where the crystal faces do not have the time to be completed, because the edges grow faster than the center of the faces. Displays very attractive stepped growth, forming gorgeous terraced structures. The Galena crystals are matt lustrous and light reflective. They are well formed and have a sharp geometry. In excellent condition – some outside edge contacts.
