Mesmerizing combo specimen of metallic spinel law twinned Galena, Quartz and Pyrite from the famous Madan ore field, Bulgaria. The mines in Madan produce some of the finest Galena in the world and this is a choice piece. It displays sharp, well formed Galena twins with matt luster and good light reflection. They are terraced and stepped forming superb pyramidal structures. Above grow yellow brassy Pyrite cubes. Some elegant Quartz crystals enrich the display. The specimen has a beautiful display from many angels. In excellent condition – some small nicks and outside edge contacts.
