Gorgeous specimen of gem Hessonite Garnets from Bellecombe, Aosta Valley, Italy. The Hessonite crystals up to 3mm are transparent with rich and very saturated red-brown color. The colorfulness of the specimen is marvelous. They have very sharp rhombic-dodecahedral crystallization with strong glassy luster and nicely reflect the light. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
