Beautiful specimen displaying Smoky Quartz crystals standing on a Microcline base and decorated with gem Spessartine Garnets from Tongbei, Fujian Province, China. The Spessartine crystals up to 7mm are transparent with rich and saturated red-orange color. They have sharp trapezohedral habit. The Smoky Quartz crystals are sharp, lustrous and transparent. Many Spessartine crystals grow freely on the Quartz and some penetrate inside. The bottom is sawed. In superb condition.
