Nice crystal of Zunyite from a recent find in Qalat-e Payeen (Qalat-e Bala) salt dome, Bandar Abbas, Iran. Zunyite is a rare mineral. The quality is outstanding and these are among the best Zunyite crystals ever found. It displays complete all over tetrahedral Zunyite crystal of 10mm. It is sharp with pleasing brick-red color and pretty beveled corners. The most amazing aspect is the geometrical perfection. Small sparkling black Hematite crystals are seen all over.
