Amazing orange color for this Orpiment specimen from Russia mined more than 14 years ago. It comes from 2004 find in El brusskiy Arsenic mine, Elbrus Mt, Russia. The Orpiment crystals are blades forming dense fan clusters. The specimen is fresh and sparkling. The color is very saturated, vivid and intense orange, which is simply marvelous. The white base adds a nice contrast and it is sawed on the back side. In order to preserved the color the specimen must be stored in a dark and not exposed on a sun light. In good condition – some small bruises.
