Colorful bi-color Corundum var. Ruby crystal on a pegmatite base with black Muscovite from Zazafotsy Quarry, Fianarantsoa Province, Madagascar. The crystal is 12mm and it has a rich color variation from purple to violet. It is a sharp hexagonal crystal with flat termination. The luster is strong and the crystal is slightly translucent. In excellent condition – some natural imperfections.
