Fabulous thumbnail specimen of Manganoan Vesuvianite crystals from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Vesuvianite crystals are gem with rich and saturated purple color to some apple-green areas. The luster is strong and the crystals are glassy. Some of them are doubly terminated. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
Gorgeous!
