Cool twinned crystals of Zunyite from a recent find in Qalat-e Bala salt dome, Bandar Abbas, Iran. Zunyite is a rare mineral. The quality is outstanding and these are among the best Zunyite crystals ever found. It displays complete all over tetrahedral Zunyite crystals to 10mm. They show penetration twining. The crystals are sharp with pleasing brick-red color and pretty beveled corners. The most amazing aspect is the geometrical perfection. Small sparkling black Hematite crystals are seen all over. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
