Beautiful specimen of skeletal Galena cluster decorating attractively Quartz plate with Chalcopyrite from 9th Septemvri mine, Madan ore field, Bulgaria. Very neat and geometrical arrangement of stacked and aligned Galena crystals overgrowing each other. Excellent parallel growth of cubes and elongated tetragonal prisms on different axes. They grow one atop another forming amazing terraced structure. Some cavernous formations are seen on the Galena. The faces are matt lustrous. Yellow Chalcopyrite crystals up to 13 mm add a nice accent. The white base gives a superb contrast. In excellent condition – some small imperfections.
