Cool specimen of Chalcopyrite and Pyrite over Sphalerite from the famous Madan ore field, Bulgaria.  At the top one dominant 28mm Chalcopyrite crystal forms an excellent focal point. It is well formed and sharp with yellow color. Brassy Pyrite cubes are seen inside the Chalcopyrite. They are lustrous. The base is formed by black tetrahedral Sphalerite crystals. Some small Quartz is seen on the back side. The specimen has an attractive arrangement. In very good condition – some small nicks. On acrylic base.
