Wonderful Rhodochrosite specimen from the famous Uchucchacua mine, Peru which has produced some of the finest Rhodochrosites. It displays gem Rhodochrosite crystals up to 10mm with pleasing cherry-red color. They are sharp and well terminated. The faces are vitreous and glassy lustrous. The Rhodochrosite crystals grow on a black base. Some transparent Quartz crystals are seen too. In good condition – some damages.
