Elegant specimen of Quartz var. Amethyst from this less common Bulgarian locality - Chala Mine, Spachievo ore field, Bulgaria. It displays elongated irregular Amethyst crystals with good luster and many surface striations. The coloration varies from purple to colorless. Some small Pyrite inclusions are seen too. Complete all over. In good condition – one small damage at the top but the tip is complete. On acrylic base.
