Striking thumbnail specimen of Manganoan Vesuvianite crystals from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Vesuvianite crystals are gemmy with rich and saturated purple color to amazing fuchsia caps. The luster is strong and the crystals are glassy. Some are doubly terminated. This is the most intense color which the mine produced. Complete all over floater. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In superb condition. On acrylic base.
Killer colors!
