Beautiful specimen of sharp Garnet var. Andradite crystals on Hedenbergite base and decorated with Quartz crystals from Serifos Island, Greece. Rhombic dodecahedral Andradite crystals up to 15mm are nestled on green Hedenbergite. The Garnets are with pleasant red-brown color, very well crystallized, with sharp edges and matt lustrous. The matrix is of parallel Hedenbergite columns, growing in a cluster. Aesthetic finish is the vertical Quartz crystal. In very good condition – some side contacts. On acrylic base.
