Sculptural specimen of lustrous Garnet var. Andradite var. Melanite crystals from Arrondissement Diakon, Kayes Region, Mali. The Melanite crystals up to 20 mm are very well shaped. They grow one atop another. They are black with sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit and strong luster. They have pretty beveled edges. It displays attractively all over 360 degree. In good condition – some small damages and natural imperfections. On acrylic base.
