Superb specimen with rich morphology of Sphalerite and Chalcopyrite on Quartz from the famous Madan ore field, Bulgaria. It displays black Sphalerite tetrahedrons. The crystals are very well isolated and sharp with surface striations, and strong luster. They have truncated tip modifications. Yellow Chalcopyrite decorates the Sphalerite making excellent formations of mutual intergrowth and penetration – really amazing. This is an attractive display specimen with nice focal points. In excellent condition – some small nicks.
