Tremendous specimen of Dioptase crystals up to 26mm from Pimbi hill, Mindouli, Republic of Congo - Brazzaville. This specimen was mined more that 30 years ago by a geologist and stored. The crystals are strongly glassy lustrous with gorgeous emerald-green color and very sharp, perfectly terminated crystals. The quality is superb - the crystals have gemmy tips with marvelous neon-green nuances. The secondary Copper silicate Shattuckite with botryoidal habit is seen too. The specimen displays beautifully and it is better in person. In excellent condition – some micro nicks. On acrylic base.
