Superb specimen of Zunyite crystals from a new find in Qalat-e Bala salt dome, Bandar Abbas, Iran. Zunyite is a rare mineral. The quality is outstanding and these are among the best Zunyite crystals ever found. It displays complete tetrahedral Zunyite crystals up to 16mm on a small base. They are razor sharp with pleasing brick-red color and pretty beveled corners. The most amazing aspect is the geometrical perfection. Small sparkling black Hematite crystals are seen all over. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
