Splendid specimen of gemmy Lazulite from the famous phosphate deposits of Yukon, Canada. Lazulite is a rare magnesium aluminum phosphate and some of the finest come from this locality. The Lazulite crystals are sharp, highly lustrous, very well formed, monoclinic, deep indigo blue color, up to 10mm big. The crystals have gemmy areas with marvelous royal blue nuances. Brown Siderite crystals form the base. In very good condition – some outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.

Marvelous!
