Fantastic jewel of gem Garnet var. Grossular with grass green phantoms from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Grossular crystals are gem and clear up to 3mm. They have very deep and saturated green cores due to Chromium. The crystals are sharp rhombic dodecahedrons, glassy and they have irresistible color. White Pectolite sprays of needle crystals are seen too. Fine specimen from this closed mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4.
