Killer small specimen of extremely rare pink colored Grossular Garnet crystals up to 2mm with green cores due to Diopside from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Garnet crystals are very glassy, transparent, gem quality with superb luster and pleasing pink color. They have perfect rhombic dodecahedral crystal habit. Some crystals have green cores due to the Diopside growing below. The base is covered with green Diopside. The Grossular has marvelous pink color and combined with the excellent gemminess make it a choice specimen from this closed mine.
