Fantastic jewel of gem Garnet var. Grossular crystals with grass green phantoms from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Grossular crystals are gem and clear up to 2.5mm. They have very deep and saturated green cores due to Chromium surrounded by transparent colorless areas. The crystals have sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit, glassy luster and irresistible color. Some minor inclusions of black Chromite are seen too. Fine thumbnail from this closed mine. It displays attractively all over 360 degree.
