Striking specimen of colorful and gemmy Garnet var. Uvarovite from the type locality - Saranovskii Mine, Russia. It displays a base covered with Uvarovite in beautiful crystals up to 3,5mm big. Typically these Uvarovites are in micro size crystals and but these ones are different – with good size and well isolated. They have some gemminess with strong luster and vivid green color. Sharp rhombic dodecahedral crystals. The back is sawed. Some contacts. On acrylic base.
