Outstanding specimen of Lazulite with Siderite and Quartz from the famous phosphate deposits of Yukon. It comes from the famous collection of Martin Zinn, USA with a label. Lazulite is a rare magnesium aluminum phosphate and some of the finest come from this locality. The Lazulite crystals are sharp, highly glassy lustrous, very well formed, monoclinic, deep indigo blue color up to 9mm big. The crystals have gemmy areas with marvelous royal blue nuances. Some crystals are twinned. Gemmy brown Siderite crystals cover the base and underline nicely the Lazulite. On the other side are seen colorless Quartz crystals. It displays on both sides. In very good condition – some small nicks and outside edge contacts.
