Tremendous cabinet specimen of colorful and gemmy Garnet var. Uvarovite crystals up to 2mm from the type locality of Saranovskii Mine, Russia. Displays a base covered by Uvarovite in beautiful crystals attractively surrounding white Calcite center. The most amazing aspect is the quality of the crystals - they have gemmy areas with incredible brilliance and luster combined with striking and rich grass-green color – absolutely adorable. They have sharp rhombic dodecahedral crystals – very sparkling and shiny. The contrast is very strong. The bottom is sawed. In very good condition – some small contacts.
