Attractive specimen of twinned Marcasite decorated with Calcite from Linwood Mine, Scott Co., Iowa, USA. It displays sharp, metallic Marcasite crystals with strong luster. They are symmetrically twinned. In addition the Marcasites are crystallized in a cluster forming beautiful spears. It is slightly iridescent. Small white Calcite crystals grow above. It shows on both sides. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
