Top quality connoisseur specimen from unique find in Tantara Mine, Congo Kinshasa of Shattuckite pseudomorph after Dioptase, after Calcite. The secondary Copper silicate Shattuckite replaces Dioptase crystals replacing the first generation of pointy Calcite crystals. The Shattuckite has intense and saturated dark blue color to superb rich royal blue areas. Botryoidal green Malachite layer covers partially the Shattuckite. At the top are seen gemmy Dioptase crystals with rich green color. Some light blue Chrysocolla is seen too. Some small contacts.
Killer double pseudomorph!
