Gorgeous Rhodochrosite specimen from the famous Uchucchacua mine, Peru which has produced some of the finest Rhodochrosites. It displays gemmy Rhodochrosite crystals up to 22mm with dark blood-red color and scalenhedron shape. They are sharp and well terminated. The faces are lustrous. Two crystals are twinned. The Rhodochrosite crystals are decorated with transparent colorless Quartz crystals. Some nicks and contacts.
