Striking red prismatic Realgar crystals from No. 5 Mine, Baia Sprie, Romania. It displays up to 14mm crystals growing freely and aesthetically on a matrix which underlines them very well. The Realgar has very intense red color with some orange nuances. The faces are lustrous and the crystals are sharp. Superb presentation of Realgar from this famous and closed now mine. In very good condition – some small nicks and contacts.
