Richly colored Quartz var. Amethyst from this less common Bulgarian locality - Chala Mine, Spachievo ore field, Bulgaria. It displays Quartz var. Amethyst crystals which grow in a cluster. The color is very intense and saturated dark purple. The crystals are chunky with sharp pyramidal tips and good luster. Some small sparkling Pyrite crystals grow above and add a nice contrast. In very good condition – some small nicks.
