Superb gem crystals of Chromian Vesuvianite – the rarest and most desirable color from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The crystals are up to 12mm and have dark grass green color due to Chromium. The dominant crystal is gem with very lustrous faces. Rare green Vesuvianite from this great now closed mine. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
