Unique type of Beryl var. Alkali-Beryl specimen from Deo Darrah, Badakhshan, Afghanistan. It displays well formed tabular hexagonal crystals up to 22mm with gemmy areas. They are light blue at the rims to dark blue at the center forming phantom like layers. The crystals have cool natural etching on the sides. They are strongly lustrous, gemmy and complete.
