Splendid specimen of Garnet var. Uvarovite from the type locality of Saranovskii Mine, Russia. It displays base densely covered with Uvarovite in crystals to 2mm. They have strong brilliance and luster combined with deep intense grass-green color. The crystals have sharp rhombic dodecahedral crystals – very sparkling and shiny. Some Clinochlore rosettes are seen too. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
