Beautiful twinned Calcite crystals in two generations from Basalt Quarry, Sambava District, Madagascar. It displays orange stem of rhombohedral Calcite crystals decorated at the top with gorgeous completely transparent and gem twinned Calcite crystals of second generation. They are strongly lustrous, colorless and have superb twinning. These calcite specimens were found in 2001 and in 2004 in this considered exhausted locality. In very good condition – some small nicks and back side contacts.
