Fabulous Rhodochrosite specimen from the famous Uchucchacua mine, Peru which has produced some of the finest Rhodochrosites. It displays gemmy Rhodochrosite crystals up to 10mm with red color and scalenhedron shape. They are sharp and well terminated. The faces are vitreous and glassy lustrous. The Rhodochrosite crystals are decorated with small transparent colorless Quartz crystals. In very good condition – some outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
