Killer small specimen of gem Grossular Garnet crystals with Diopside needles from the famous Jeffrey mine, Quebec, Canada. The Grossular crystals are extremely transparent, gem quality with superb luster and pleasing orange color. They are up to 7mm big with sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit. The dominant crystal at the top forms a superb focal point. The Diopside crystals are light green needles, well crystallized with elongated shape. It displays beautifully all over 360 degree. For references see the 2013 issue of The Mineralogical Record vol. 44, # 4. In excellent condition - some minor contacts. On acrylic base.
