Colorful gemmy Mimetite from Hat Yai District, Thailand. It comes from the collection of Sandro Maggia, Italy with a label. Very pleasing specimen of crystals growing on a white base which underlines them very well. The Mimetites are sharp hexagonal crystals to 2mm with vivid and intense canary-yellow color. They have superb luster and fresh appearance. The most amazing aspect of this specimen is the quality of the Mimetite – the crystals are gemmy.
