Impressive big specimen of gem Garnet var. gem Andradite var. Demantoide from Malenco Valley, Italy. It comes from the collection of Sandro Maggia, Italy with a label. On the base sit Demantoid crystals to 3mm with sharp rhombic dodecahedral habit. They are strongly lustrous light reflective and sparkling. The color is pleasing apple-green. The bottom is sawed. In very good condition – some small contacts.
