Beautiful specimen of Azurite with Malachite pseudomorph growing in a crust on water clear Quartz crystals from Mecissi, Morocco. The transparent Quartz crystals are partially covered by lenticular Azurite forming nice rosette aggregates with dark royal blue color. Some Azurite zones are pseudomorphed by green, velvet Malachite. This gives superb contrast. The Quartz crystals are razor sharp and well formed. In excellent condition. On acrylic base.
