Pretty specimen of gem and fine Spessartine Garnet crystals up to 10mm from Tongbei, China. The Spessartines are well shaped and transparent with a rich orange color. They have rhombic dodecahedral habit with nice beveled edges. The Spessartine crystals contrast strongly on the white base. In excellent condition – some outside edge contacts. On acrylic base.
