Splendid specimen of Garnet var. Uvarovite from the type locality of Saranovskii Mine, Russia. Displays base densely covered with Uvarovite in crystals to 3mm. They have strong brilliance and luster combined with deep intense grass-green color. The crystal have sharp rhombic dodecahedral crystals – very sparkling and shiny. In very good condition – some small contacts. On acrylic base.
