Magnificent specimen of glowing Rhodochrosite crystals with transparent Quartzes from Pasto Bueno District, Peru. It displays transparent and gemmy Rhodochrosite crystals to 8 mm with rich cherry-red color aesthetically growing among rising water-clear Quartzes. The Rhodochrosite crystals are rhombohedral with strong luster. The deposit has produced these treasures around 1980 and pieces like this have always been scarce. In very good condition – some outside edge contacts.
