Pleasing specimen of dark wine-red Uvite crystal sitting on Magnesite from Pomba pit, Bahia, Brazil. It comes from the collection of Bruno Cerato, Italy with a label. The Uvite crystal of 5mm is strongly lustrous, very well formed and sharp. It beautifully reflects the light and shows strong gemminess. The white Magnesite crystals give good contrast. They are rhombohedral with high luster and transparency. The quality is excellent for the species. In very good condition – some micro nicks and side contacts. On acrylic base.
