Striking specimen of richly colored Quartz var. Amethyst from the famous Goboboseb Mts, Brandberg Area, Namibia. The Amethyst crystal is perfect and razor sharp. It is transparent and water clear with saturated dark purple color. Some small inclusions and growth phantoms are seen too. Clusters of Calcite grow above and enrich the stand. Displays beautifully all over 360 degree. In excellent condition – some small nicks on the Calcite. On acrylic base.
