Marvelous Rhodochrosite specimen from the famous Uchucchacua mine, Peru which has produced some of the finest Rhodochrosites. It displays gemmy Rhodochrosite crystals up to 5mm with pleasing cherry-red color and scalenhedron shape. They are sharp and well terminated. The faces are vitreous and glassy lustrous. The Rhodochrosite crystals grow on a black base. In very good condition – some minor damages. On acrylic base.
